Elk Sheds Showing Up Across LP Ranch This Spring

Spring is one of the best times of year on LP Ranch. Everything starts to open up, and you get a clear look at what made it through the winter.

We’ve been finding sheds from several 300+ inch bulls around the ranch already. That’s always a good sign. Mature bulls made it through the season and are sticking around.

What’s even better is how local the herd has been. These elk aren’t just passing through. They’re holding on the ranch, using the same areas consistently. That usually means they’re comfortable and not getting pushed around elk sheds Colorado ranch.

Elk numbers look strong right now too. We’re seeing solid groups and a healthy mix of cows, younger bulls, and mature animals.
